NGC 6153: Reality is Complicated*

We study the kinematics of emission lines that arise from many physical processes in NGC 6153 based upon deep, spatially-resolved, high resolution spectra acquired with UVES spectrograph at ESO VLT. Our most basic finding is plasma complex, especially its temperature structure. The defines a classic expansion law, outer part expanding fastest (normal nebular plasma). However, permitted \ion{O}{1}, \ion{C}{2}, \ion{N}{2}, \ion{O}{2}, and \ion{Ne}{2} present constant velocity second kinematic component (additional component). conditions imply two components, additional having lower higher density. [\ion{O}{2}] density [\ion{N}{2}] are anomalous, but may be understood considering contribution recombination to these forbidden lines. components have very different temperatures. normal appears fluctuations volume (main shell), only small elsewhere. contains about half mass N$^{2+}$ O$^{2+}$ ions, $3-5$\% H$^+$ so chemical abundances. estimate abundances $12+\log(\mathrm O^{2+}/\mathrm H^+)\sim 9.2$\,dex $\mathrm{He}/\mathrm H\sim 0.13$. Although they all complications, multiple fluctuations, contributions given line reality 6153, should generally taken into account.
